Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how JARAL Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. (“JARAL Consultants”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, complete our enquiry forms, or engage us as a client.

We are committed to handling personal information lawfully, transparently, and only for legitimate business purposes. This policy is written in plain English and applies to all information we collect through this website and during professional engagements.

Who we are

JARAL Consultants (Pvt) Ltd. is a private limited company incorporated in Pakistan, with our registered office at Delta Tower, 43-Midway, Bahria Town, Karachi, Pakistan. For all privacy-related enquiries, you can reach us at info@jaral-consultants.co or +92 331 671 1777.

What we collect

We collect only the information needed to respond to enquiries and deliver our services:

  • Contact details you provide on our website forms — name, email, phone (optional), and the message body.
  • Engagement information shared during paid client work — typically business and financial information needed to deliver the agreed scope.
  • Career applications you send us — your CV, cover letter, and contact details.
  • Technical data automatically collected by the hosting provider when you visit the site — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location (city/country level).

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

How we use it

We use personal information for the following limited purposes:

  • To respond to enquiries and provide quotations.
  • To deliver agreed consultancy services under written engagement letters.
  • To evaluate job applications.
  • To maintain and improve our website and security.
  • To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations under Pakistani law, including the Companies Act and applicable tax laws.

We do not use your information for behavioural advertising or send unsolicited marketing communications.

How we share it

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may share limited information only with:

  • Service providers we use to operate the business — hosting (Netlify), email (Google Workspace), and similar — who are bound by their own confidentiality and data-protection terms.
  • Professional advisors such as auditors and legal counsel, where required.
  • Authorities and regulators, where we are legally required to do so, such as in response to a valid court order or regulatory request under Pakistani law.

All client engagement information is also covered by the confidentiality clause of the relevant engagement letter.

Cookies & analytics

This website uses functional cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work (e.g., remembering language preference). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking beacons. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics may be collected by our hosting provider to monitor site performance and security.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry-form submissions for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner, and unless we are legally required to retain them longer. Engagement records are kept for the period required by Pakistani tax and corporate law (typically six years after the engagement ends). Career applications are kept for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Object to processing in certain circumstances.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, and destruction. No online transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; however, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities promptly if a material data breach occurs.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a prominent notice on our website or by email where appropriate.
